This SacO2 machine was designed to accelerate the colonization process and has been tested and approved by Mycelia, one of the leading spawn laboratories in Europe. Thousands of new inoculation points are created by breaking up the colonies and redistributing the kernels over the substrate, speeding up the colonization process tremendously.
Working principle
The working principle is easy as pie. Optimally operated by two people, the first person takes the bag of the trolley, gently applies some pressure on the substrate, then places the bags in the bag tumbler while it’s spinning. On average, the tumbler has a capacity of up to 20 medium sized bags. Let the tumbler do its job and the second person collects the shaken bags and places them on a new trolley. Done!
When operated properly, the bag tumbler will alleviate the workload and physical stress associated with shaking spawn and substrate bags. Additionally, it will shorten the time needed to shake the bags by 75% when compared to manual shaking.
