Square Microboxes are available with 2 filters, or 4, depending on amount of gas exchange needed. These boxes are best bought gamma irradiated, as autoclaving tends to warp them. However, they can be autoclaved, but we recommend taping the boxes afterwards to prevent lids from popping open.

Our square and rectangular Microboxes are available with either a #30 Red filter executed in white, or the #40 Green filter. Please read filter options tab for explanation.

Filter Options

2 Filter options only for the rectangular and square boxes, #30 White, not red and #40 Green. We made the #30 Red filter white, this does not mean it is a #10 White filter. Some of our customers require a white filter with the red filter air exchange capacities, for certain fungus cultures it is not advisable to have a red color filter as red may be an indication of contamination.
